Our Opinion • Say 'yes' to libraries

The easiest decision Multnomah County voters have in the May 15 primary election is to vote yes on the renewal of the county's library levy.

This levy, on the ballot as Measure 26-125, will keep libraries operating for the next several months -- and potentially as long as three years -- while voters decide whether they want to commit to permanent funding for one of the best-used library systems in the nation.
