Foundation receives highest rating

August 7, 2008 - For the second year, The Library Foundation has received the highest rating given by Charity Navigator, the largest charity watchdog organization in the nation. The Library Foundation is one of only 14 Portland nonprofits to receive the highest rating.

Charity Navigator works to advance a more efficient and responsive philanthropic marketplace by evaluating the financial health of America’s largest nonprofits. The four-rating indicates an organization's ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances and demonstrates to the public that it is worthy of their trust.
