Foundation funds help leverage Multnomah County Library's vast reach and partnerships. This allows the library to offer proven programs for a fraction of the typical cost. Your gift will help:

• Reach babies and toddlers at risk through Raising A Reader—a proven year-long literacy program—at a cost of $12 per person this year.
• Support students at low performing schools through Books 2U—for an estimated $24 per student.
• Boost the reading skills of more than 100,000 children who participate in Summer Reading —at just under $6 per child reached.
