Because foundation funds leverage Multnomah County Library's vast reach and partnerships, the library is able to provide proven programs for a fraction of the typical cost. See what your gift will do:

• Reach babies and toddlers at risk through Raising A Reader—a proven year-long literacy program—at a cost of just $12.50 per child this year.
• Support students at low performing schools through Books 2U—for an estimated $26 per student.
• Help boost the reading skills of over 62,500 babies, preschoolers and school-age kids who participated in Summer Reading this year—at just $6 per child reached.
