The Library Foundation was established in 1995 by far-sighted citizens who understood that a great library would not be possible through public funding alone. Since then, The Library Foundation has raised more than $30 million to enhance programs, collections and the renovation and expansion of our great library system. The Library Foundation, Inc. is a 501c3 charitable corporation that relies on the contributions of individuals, businesses and foundations to support Multnomah County Library.
